I founded Labor Management Success in 1999 to help managers resolve personnel problems and improve their relationships with their employees. This mission has grown to help managers, their teams and employees improve all of their professional relationships, solve difficult problems and achieve organizational goals. 

As a senior human resources executive and consultant with 22 years experience, I have found the single most important skill a manager must have is the ability to solve problems. This applies to all teams and employees, but it is managers who carry the highest responsibility.  The downturn in the economy is forcing managers to make tough decisions.  If your organization is getting ready to deliver bad news, it is important it be done right the first time.
