BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Grew up in New York during the Civil Rights era and was inspired to promote social action professionally through ethical human resource practices

Since 1995, has served California employers as a change agent, instituting equal opportunity, accountability, excellence and conflict resolution skills as core functions

Has consulted in cutting edge human resource management practices since 1999, serving 27 clients statewide

Served as Deputy County Administrative Officer - Human Resources for Monterey County, worked with labor organizations in New York and California, and served as director of a nonprofit organization in New York
EXAMPLES OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Changed the culture of organizations through conflict resolution,
strategically aligning programs and policies with goals, team building,
employee empowerment programs and diversity and EEO initiatives
- Negotiated more than 400 labor agreements with an interest based, win-win style
